What it is
TGA-cleared microneedling for collagen induction
MesoElite is a TGA-cleared microneedling device that uses a controlled array of fine needles to create micro-channels in the skin at a precisely calibrated depth. This mechanical stimulus triggers the skin's natural wound-healing response, which may support collagen and elastin production in the treated area over the weeks following treatment.
Microneedling at Regenesis may be performed as a standalone treatment or combined with the application of active serums or solutions delivered through the micro-channels created during the procedure. The combination approach may support a more targeted treatment response — serums selected based on your skin's individual concerns and confirmed at consultation.
All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough skin assessment. As with all treatments, individual responses vary and suitability is confirmed before any treatment begins.

Technology used
How MesoElite works
The MesoElite device uses an automated needling tip with a controlled array of fine needles. Needle depth is adjusted based on the treatment area and the concerns being addressed — typically between 0.5mm and 2.5mm depending on the area and individual assessment. The device delivers consistent, controlled needle penetration across the treatment area.
What to expect
The treatment experience
Your first appointment begins with a skin assessment. Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and determine the treatment approach, needle depth and any serums to be used. Your skin will be cleansed at the start of your appointment. If topical anaesthetic is required, your practitioner will advise you on application instructions prior to your appointment.
During treatment, the MesoElite handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. Most clients describe a mild sensation of pressure and vibration during treatment, though individual experiences vary. Sessions typically take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated, not including any pre-treatment preparation time.
Following treatment the skin will typically appear red and feel sensitive — similar in appearance to mild sunburn. Some pinpoint bleeding may be present depending on the needle depth used. These responses are expected and typically begin to settle over the following 24 to 48 hours, though individual recovery timelines vary.
Sessions + Downtime
Treatment plan and recovery
A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended for MesoElite needling. Sessions are spaced 4 weeks apart to allow adequate recovery and collagen remodelling between treatments. The skin's response continues to develop in the weeks following each session — collagen induction is a progressive process.
Downtime is typically 1 to 3 days for most clients, though this varies depending on needle depth, the area treated and individual skin response. During recovery you may experience redness, mild swelling and some dryness or peeling as the skin renews. Specific aftercare instructions will be provided at your appointment.
Sun protection is particularly important following this treatment. The skin is more sensitive in the days following treatment and UV exposure should be minimised. Daily SPF 50+ is recommended throughout and following your treatment course.
As with all treatments that involve skin disruption, risks are associated with microneedling. Your practitioner will discuss all relevant risks and aftercare requirements at your consultation before proceeding.
