What it is
AI-guided radiofrequency and ultrasound for skin laxity
Exion RF is a non-invasive treatment that combines AI-guided monopolar radiofrequency (RF) with focused ultrasound energy to address skin laxity and support collagen and hyaluronic acid production in the dermis. It is one of the few devices that targets hyaluronic acid production alongside collagen — a distinction relevant for skin that has become drier or thinner over time.
The AI component of the device monitors and adjusts energy delivery in real time, aiming to maintain a consistent therapeutic temperature in the tissue throughout the session. This approach may support a more controlled treatment response compared to manual radiofrequency devices.
All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough skin assessment at consultation. Suitability is confirmed before any treatment begins.

Technology used
How Exion RF works
Exion RF combines two energy types — monopolar radiofrequency and focused ultrasound — delivered simultaneously through a single handpiece. The AI system monitors tissue temperature throughout the session, adjusting energy output in response. This aims to support a consistent treatment depth and a more controlled thermal response in the dermis.
What to expect
The treatment experience
Your first appointment begins with a skin assessment. Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and confirm the treatment areas and approach. Your skin will be cleansed at the start of your appointment.
During treatment, the Exion RF handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. Most clients describe a consistent warming sensation throughout the session. The AI system adjusts energy delivery as the treatment progresses. Sessions typically take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.
Following treatment, the skin in the treated area may appear mildly flushed and feel warm. This typically settles within a few hours. Most clients are able to return to their normal routine shortly after their appointment, though individual responses vary.
Sessions + Downtime
Treatment plan and maintenance
A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for Exion RF. Sessions are typically spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart for the initial course. Collagen and hyaluronic acid production occur progressively — the skin's response continues to develop in the weeks following each session and across the treatment course.
Maintenance sessions are often recommended following the initial course to support the skin's response over time. The frequency of maintenance varies by individual and will be discussed at your consultation.
Downtime is generally minimal for most clients. Your practitioner will advise on appropriate aftercare at your appointment. Sun protection is recommended throughout your treatment course.
