3DEEP radiofrequency for skin laxity and collagen remodelling

Endymed uses 3DEEP radiofrequency (RF) technology to deliver controlled thermal energy into the deeper layers of the skin. Unlike some RF devices that work primarily at a single depth, 3DEEP technology aims to distribute energy through multiple tissue layers simultaneously — targeting the dermis and sub-dermal tissue where collagen remodelling occurs.

The thermal response generated by the RF energy may stimulate the body's natural collagen remodelling process over the course of treatment. Endymed is used at Regenesis for facial and body skin laxity concerns and is offered as part of a broader skin treatment plan where appropriate.

All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough skin assessment. Suitability is confirmed at consultation before any treatment begins.

Skin concerns

This treatment may assist with the following concerns. Suitability is confirmed at consultation.

  • Skin laxity on the face, neck and décolletage
  • Loss of skin density and dermal collagen quality
  • Overall skin quality as part of an ongoing skin health plan
  • Mild to moderate facial laxity associated with ageing
  • Skin laxity on the body
  • Skin texture and surface quality concerns

How Endymed works

Endymed's 3DEEP technology uses multiple RF channels that work simultaneously to focus energy at a controlled depth in the skin. The device includes a built-in temperature monitoring system that assists the practitioner in maintaining a therapeutically appropriate energy level throughout the session.

Endymed — 3DEEP RF
Multi-channel radiofrequency platform using 3DEEP technology to distribute energy through multiple tissue layers. Includes real-time temperature monitoring to support consistent energy delivery. Available for facial and body applications. Treatments are performed without needles and generally require little to no recovery for most clients. Pricing from $400 per session — confirmed at consultation based on treatment area.

The treatment experience

Your first appointment begins with a skin assessment. Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and confirm the treatment areas and approach. Your skin will be cleansed at the start of your appointment.

During treatment, the Endymed handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. Most clients describe a warming sensation throughout the session. The device monitors tissue temperature and the practitioner adjusts settings based on your individual response. Sessions typically take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.

Following treatment the skin in the treated area may appear mildly flushed and feel warm. This typically settles within a few hours in most cases. Your practitioner will provide aftercare guidance at your appointment. Individual responses vary.

Treatment plan and maintenance

A minimum of 6 sessions is recommended for Endymed. Sessions are typically spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart for the initial course. Collagen remodelling develops progressively — the skin's response continues in the weeks following each session and across the treatment course.

Maintenance sessions are often recommended following the initial course to support the skin's response over time. The frequency of maintenance varies by individual and will be discussed at your consultation.

Downtime is generally minimal for most clients. Most clients are able to return to their normal routine shortly after their appointment, though individual responses vary. Sun protection is recommended throughout your treatment course.

Common questions

Is this treatment appropriate for my skin type?+
Endymed uses radiofrequency energy rather than light, which means skin tone is generally not a limiting factor in the same way it can be with some laser treatments. The treatment is generally well tolerated across a broad range of skin types. Suitability is confirmed at consultation — your practitioner will assess your skin, health history and any relevant contraindications before recommending treatment.
What does the treatment feel like?+
Most clients describe a consistent warming sensation during treatment. The device monitors tissue temperature and settings are adjusted throughout the session. Individual comfort levels vary — your practitioner can adjust settings based on your response during treatment.
How is Endymed different from Exilis 360 or Exion RF?+
All three devices use radiofrequency energy for skin laxity. Endymed uses 3DEEP multi-channel RF technology, while Exilis 360 uses monopolar RF with integrated cooling, and Exion RF combines monopolar RF with focused ultrasound and AI-guided temperature monitoring. Each device has a different mechanism of energy delivery. Your practitioner will assess your skin at consultation and recommend the most appropriate device for your individual concerns and treatment goals.
How many sessions will I need?+
A minimum of 6 sessions is recommended. The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, your skin and your individual response. Your practitioner will provide a personalised recommendation at your initial consultation.
How should I prepare for my appointment?+
Avoid applying heavy creams, oils or makeup to the treatment area before your appointment. Your practitioner will cleanse the skin at the start of your session. Stay well hydrated before and after each session. Let your practitioner know about any medications you are taking or any changes to your health. Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area for 48 hours before your appointment.
Are there any contraindications?+
Endymed is not appropriate for individuals with certain implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers, metal implants in the treatment area, active skin conditions in the treatment area or certain medical conditions. It is not recommended during pregnancy. Your practitioner will conduct a full screening at consultation to confirm suitability.
Are there any risks or side effects?+
Potential side effects include temporary redness, warmth and mild swelling in the treated area. These typically settle within a few hours in most cases. As with all treatments, individual responses vary and your practitioner will discuss all relevant risks and considerations at your consultation before proceeding.
Is this treatment recommended during pregnancy?+
Endymed is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please advise your practitioner before booking.
