AI-guided RF and ultrasound for body skin laxity

Exion Body applies the same AI-guided monopolar radiofrequency and focused ultrasound technology as Exion RF — adapted for use on body treatment areas. The device uses real-time temperature monitoring to deliver controlled thermal energy to the dermis and sub-dermal tissue, targeting collagen remodelling and hyaluronic acid production in areas where the skin has become lax or lost density.

Unlike some body contouring treatments that target fat reduction, Exion Body focuses on the quality and laxity of the overlying skin — making it a relevant option for clients who are primarily concerned with skin texture and tightness rather than volume changes. It may also be considered as a complementary treatment alongside body contouring procedures. Suitability for combined approaches is assessed at consultation.

All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough assessment. Individual responses vary and suitability is confirmed at consultation before any treatment begins.

Where we treat

Exion Body may be appropriate for a range of body areas where skin laxity or quality is a concern. Treatment areas and suitability are confirmed at consultation.

  • Abdomen and stomach
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Upper arms
  • Buttocks and décolletage
  • Knees and lower legs
  • Other body areas — assessed at consultation

How Exion Body works

Exion Body uses the same AI-guided monopolar RF and focused ultrasound platform as Exion RF, configured with applicators suited to larger body surface areas. The AI system monitors tissue temperature throughout the session and adjusts energy delivery in response, aiming to maintain a consistent therapeutic depth across the treatment area.

Exion Body — BTL
AI-guided monopolar RF combined with focused ultrasound, adapted for body treatment areas. Real-time tissue temperature monitoring adjusts energy delivery throughout the session. Targets collagen remodelling and hyaluronic acid production in the dermis and sub-dermal tissue. Treatment is performed without needles and generally requires little to no recovery for most clients. The treatment experience

Your first appointment begins with a skin and body assessment. Your practitioner will assess the treatment area, discuss your concerns and confirm the approach, settings and expected number of sessions. Pricing is confirmed at this appointment.

During treatment, the Exion Body handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. Most clients describe a consistent warming sensation throughout the session. The AI system adjusts energy delivery as the treatment progresses based on tissue response. Sessions typically take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated.

Following treatment the skin in the treated area may appear mildly flushed and feel warm. This typically settles within a few hours in most cases. Most clients are able to return to their normal routine shortly after their appointment, though individual responses vary. Your practitioner will provide aftercare guidance at your appointment.

Treatment plan and maintenance

A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for Exion Body. Sessions are typically spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart for the initial course. Collagen remodelling and hyaluronic acid production occur progressively — the skin's response continues to develop in the weeks following each session and across the treatment course.

Maintenance sessions are often recommended following the initial course to support the skin's response over time. The frequency of maintenance varies by individual and treatment area, and will be discussed at your consultation.

Downtime is generally minimal for most clients. Staying well hydrated before and after each session is recommended. Sun protection on exposed treatment areas is advisable throughout your course.

Common questions

How is Exion Body different from body contouring treatments?+
Body contouring treatments such as Emsculpt NEO or Emtone target muscle development, fat reduction or cellulite. Exion Body focuses on the quality and laxity of the skin overlying a body area — addressing collagen and hyaluronic acid production in the dermis. It is primarily a skin quality treatment rather than a body composition treatment. The two approaches may complement each other and can sometimes be combined — your practitioner will advise at consultation.
Is this treatment appropriate for my skin type?+
Exion Body uses radiofrequency energy rather than light, which means skin tone is generally not a limiting factor in the same way it can be with some laser treatments. The treatment is generally well tolerated across a broad range of skin types. Suitability is confirmed at consultation — your practitioner will assess the treatment area, your health history and any relevant contraindications before recommending treatment.
What does the treatment feel like?+
Most clients describe a consistent warming sensation during treatment. The AI system monitors tissue temperature throughout the session and settings are adjusted accordingly. Individual comfort levels vary — your practitioner can adjust settings based on your response during treatment.
How many sessions will I need?+
A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended. The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, the degree of skin laxity and your individual response. Your practitioner will provide a personalised recommendation at your initial consultation.
Are there any contraindications?+
Exion Body is not appropriate for individuals with certain implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers, metal implants in the treatment area, active skin conditions in the treatment area or certain medical conditions. It is not recommended during pregnancy. Your practitioner will conduct a full screening at consultation to confirm suitability.
Are there any risks or side effects?+
Potential side effects include temporary redness and warmth in the treated area, which typically settles within a few hours in most cases. As with all treatments, individual responses vary and your practitioner will discuss all relevant risks and considerations at your consultation before proceeding.
Is this treatment recommended during pregnancy?+
Exion Body is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please advise your practitioner before booking.
