Radiofrequency body treatment for skin laxity and collagen support

Exilis Body uses monopolar radiofrequency energy with a simultaneous cooling system to deliver controlled thermal energy into the deeper layers of the skin on body treatment areas. The RF energy heats the dermis and underlying tissue, which may stimulate the body's natural collagen remodelling response over the course of treatment.

Exilis Body is the body adaptation of the Exilis 360 platform — using the same monopolar RF technology configured with applicators suited to larger body surface areas. The treatment focuses on the skin itself — addressing laxity and quality in the overlying tissue — rather than targeting fat or muscle composition.

All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough assessment. Individual responses vary and suitability is confirmed at consultation before any treatment begins.

Where we treat

Exilis Body may be appropriate for a range of body areas where skin laxity or quality is a concern. Treatment areas and suitability are confirmed at consultation.

  • Abdomen and stomach
  • Inner and outer thighs
  • Upper arms
  • Buttocks and décolletage
  • Knees and lower legs
  • Other body areas — assessed at consultation

How Exilis Body works

Exilis Body uses the same monopolar RF platform as Exilis 360, adapted for body treatment areas with larger applicators. The device includes an integrated cooling system that protects the skin surface while delivering energy to the deeper tissue layers.

Exilis Body — BTL
Monopolar radiofrequency platform with integrated cooling for simultaneous skin surface protection. Configured for body treatment areas. The RF energy penetrates to a controlled depth generating a thermal response that may stimulate collagen remodelling. Treatment is performed without needles and generally requires little to no recovery for most clients. Pricing on consultation — determined by treatment area and number of sessions.

The treatment experience

Your first appointment begins with a skin and body assessment. Your practitioner will assess the treatment area, discuss your concerns and confirm the approach, settings and expected number of sessions. Pricing is confirmed at this appointment.

During treatment, the Exilis Body handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. Most clients describe a consistent warming sensation throughout the session. The temperature is monitored and adjusted to remain at a comfortable and therapeutically appropriate level. Sessions typically take between 30 and 60 minutes depending on the area being treated.

Following treatment the skin in the treated area may appear mildly flushed and feel warm. This typically settles within a few hours in most cases. Most clients are able to return to their normal routine shortly after their appointment, though individual responses vary.

Treatment plan and maintenance

A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for Exilis Body. Sessions are typically spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart for the initial course. Collagen remodelling occurs progressively — the skin's response continues to develop in the weeks following each session and across the treatment course.

Maintenance sessions are often recommended following the initial course to support the skin's response over time. The frequency of maintenance varies by individual and treatment area, and will be discussed at your consultation.

Downtime is generally minimal for most clients. Staying well hydrated before and after each session is recommended as hydration supports the skin's response to RF treatment.

Common questions

How is Exilis Body different from Exion Body?+
Both Exilis Body and Exion Body use monopolar radiofrequency energy for body skin laxity. Exion Body additionally incorporates focused ultrasound and an AI-guided temperature monitoring system that adjusts delivery in real time, and also targets hyaluronic acid production alongside collagen. Exilis Body uses the monopolar RF platform with integrated cooling. Your practitioner will assess your skin and concerns at consultation and recommend the most appropriate device for your individual situation.
Is this a body contouring treatment?+
Exilis Body is primarily a skin quality and laxity treatment — it targets collagen remodelling in the dermis and sub-dermal tissue rather than fat reduction or muscle development. It may complement body contouring treatments and can sometimes be used as part of a broader body treatment plan. Your practitioner will discuss what is most appropriate for your concerns at consultation.
Is this treatment appropriate for my skin type?+
Exilis Body uses radiofrequency energy rather than light, which means skin tone is generally not a limiting factor. The treatment is generally well tolerated across a broad range of skin types. Suitability is confirmed at consultation — your practitioner will assess the treatment area, health history and any relevant contraindications before recommending treatment.
How many sessions will I need?+
A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended. The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, the degree of skin laxity and your individual response. Your practitioner will provide a personalised recommendation at your initial consultation.
Are there any contraindications?+
Exilis Body is not appropriate for individuals with certain implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers, metal implants in the treatment area, active skin conditions in the treatment area or certain medical conditions. It is not recommended during pregnancy. Your practitioner will conduct a full screening at consultation to confirm suitability.
Are there any risks or side effects?+
Potential side effects include temporary redness and warmth in the treated area, which typically settles within a few hours in most cases. As with all treatments, individual responses vary and your practitioner will discuss all relevant risks and considerations at your consultation before proceeding.
Is this treatment recommended during pregnancy?+
Exilis Body is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please advise your practitioner before booking.
