Radiofrequency treatment for skin laxity and collagen support

Exilis 360 is a non-invasive radiofrequency (RF) treatment that delivers controlled thermal energy into the deeper layers of the skin. The RF energy heats the dermis and underlying tissue, stimulating the body's natural collagen remodelling response. Over a course of sessions, this may contribute to a gradual improvement in skin quality, laxity and overall skin structure.

Exilis 360 uses a monopolar RF platform with a built-in cooling system that protects the skin's surface while energy is delivered to the deeper tissue layers. The treatment is performed without needles, without surgery and with generally little to generally little to generally little to no downtime.

All treatments are performed by qualified practitioners at Regenesis following a thorough skin assessment at consultation.

Skin concerns

This treatment may assist with the following concerns. Suitability is determined at consultation.

  • Skin laxity on the face, neck and décolletage
  • Loss of skin density and dermal quality
  • Collagen support as part of an ongoing skin health plan
  • Mild to moderate skin laxity associated with ageing
  • Overall skin quality and texture
  • Periorbital laxity (around the eye area)

How Exilis 360 works

Exilis 360 uses monopolar radiofrequency energy with a simultaneous cooling system. The RF energy penetrates to a controlled depth in the skin, generating heat that stimulates collagen remodelling in the treated tissue. The cooling system maintains the comfort and integrity of the skin surface during treatment.

The treatment experience

Your first appointment begins with a skin assessment. Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns and confirm the treatment areas and approach. Your skin will be cleansed at the start of your appointment.

During treatment, the Exilis 360 handpiece is moved across the treatment area in a controlled pattern. You will feel a consistent warmth as the RF energy is delivered — this is monitored throughout the session to ensure it remains at a comfortable and therapeutically appropriate level. Sessions typically take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on the area being treated.

Downtime is generally minimal. Your skin may appear slightly flushed and feel warm immediately after treatment — this settles quickly. You can typically return to their normal routine shortly after following each session.

Treatment plan and maintenance

A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended for Exilis 360. Sessions are typically spaced 1 to 2 weeks apart for the initial course. Collagen remodelling occurs progressively — the skin's response continues to develop in the weeks following each session and across the treatment course.

Maintenance sessions are often recommended following the initial course to sustain the skin's response over time. The frequency of maintenance varies by individual and will be discussed at your consultation.

Downtime is generally minimal — most clients return to their normal routine the same day.

Sun protection is recommended throughout your treatment course. Keeping the skin well hydrated and supporting it with appropriate skincare between sessions may support the skin's response to treatment.

Common questions

Is this treatment suitable for my skin type?+
Exilis 360 is generally well tolerated across a broad range of skin types. As the treatment works through RF energy rather than light, it is not dependent on skin tone in the same way that laser treatments are. Suitability is confirmed at consultation — certain medical conditions or implanted devices may affect whether the treatment is appropriate for you.
Is the treatment comfortable?+
Most clients find Exilis 360 comfortable. You will feel a consistent warmth during treatment — the temperature is monitored and adjusted throughout the session to maintain comfort. There is no snapping or prickling sensation as with some laser treatments.
How many sessions will I need?+
A minimum of 4 sessions is recommended. The number of sessions depends on the treatment area, the degree of skin laxity and your individual skin response. Your practitioner will provide a personalised recommendation at your initial consultation.
How should I prepare for my appointment?+
Arrive with clean skin in the treatment area — avoid applying heavy creams, oils or makeup. Stay well hydrated before and after each session. Let your practitioner know about any medications you are taking or any changes to your health. Avoid sun exposure in the treatment area for 48 hours before your appointment.
Are there any contraindications?+
Exilis 360 is not suitable for individuals with certain implanted electronic devices such as pacemakers, metal implants in the treatment area, active skin conditions in the treatment area or certain medical conditions. Pregnancy is also a contraindication. Your practitioner will conduct a full screening at consultation to confirm suitability.
Are there any risks or side effects?+
Potential side effects include temporary redness and warmth in the treated area, which typically settles within a few hours. In rare cases, mild swelling or temporary changes in skin sensation may occur. Your practitioner will discuss all relevant risks at your consultation.
Is this treatment safe during pregnancy?+
Exilis 360 is not recommended during pregnancy. Please advise your practitioner before booking.
